About us
Ludovic :
“I manage more precisely the work within our 22 Ha (plantations, monitoring of the vines, harvesting, deliveries…). Since November, I pay particular attention to the winemaking process.””
Sandra :
“My activity focuses more particularly on the tasks related to the packaging, the administrative part and of course your reception throughout the year.””
Jean Baptiste and Juliette GAULTIER moved to La Mulonnière in 1934.
In 1968, Daniel took over from his father with his wife Marie Jo.
In 2004, Ludovic, driven by the same passion for the vine and wine as his parents and grandparents, set up his own business: the 3rd generation is committed! In 2009, Ludovic and his wife Sandra created the EARL and the vineyard now covers 22 hectares.
For a better reception of our customers, the tasting cellar was renovated in 2013.
Mulonnière vineyard
Coteaux-du-Layon and Cabernet d’Anjou in Beaulieu sur Layon, near Angers
Created in 2004, VIGNOBLE DE LA MULONNIERE designs and develops a wide range of quality wines. Used alone or together, our different grape varieties give the wines unique characteristics.
Our terroir: a Layon vineyard
On an area of 12 hectares in the heart of Layon, we cultivate several grape varieties for the production of exceptional wines:
- red wines
- rosé wines
- white wines
The location of our vineyard in south-facing clayey-schist slopes allows the vines to benefit from maximum sunshine. Thus, you will taste wines with unique aromas and flavors such as the Coteaux-du-Layon, a sweet or semi-dry white wine and the Cabernet d’Anjou, Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
